Benton Arkansas Post Office

ADDRESS: 1425 Military Rd, Benton, AR 72015

My son wanted to dig for diamonds, “Daddy did too”, so we headed to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro in April of this year. We packed the care and drove to Arkansas for a little family vacation.

And yes, it was a long drive and worth it, even if we didn’t find any diamonds. I just hope it is something the kid remembers when he is older. If not we may just have to head back there again.

Of course I had to stop and get pictures of Post Offices along the way. In fact we ended up devoting two days of driving and photographing post offices. Some with murals and others with nothing more than a dedication plaque like Benton AR.

I’m in the process of counting how many post offices we visited. I think it’s about twenty, so stay tuned.
