ADDRESS: 247 Sandalwood Dr., Big Bear Lake, California 92315
The Moonridge Station was another post office I visited while I was hiking in 2010. If anyone has been to Big Bear then you know how spread out the town is. The branch office was on the other side of town. Luckily the town has public transportation so I was able to get from the hostel I was staying at over to this branch office for a picture.
Big Bear was a friendly stop, I remember the people being really nice. When I went shopping at the local grocery store I did not have a club card since I’m from out-of-town I did not see any point in applying for one. However, the nice lady waiting in line behind me kindly offered to let me use her card. Incredible! I thanked her over and over again. Ate my lunch and took the next bus back to hostel.
These are just some of the stories of kindness I run across when traveling and hiking.
Thanks,
