ADDRESS: 301 S. Poplar St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820
Today’s featured post office is Bucyrus, Ohio. A few weeks ago, I wrote an article about the Troy, Ohio. In that article, I mentioned several stops along the way reveled the same building design. Both the Troy and Bucyrus buildings are almost identical. They are both large buildings with really neat columns in front. The Bucyrus building is dated 1932.
So what is this called? I mean, what is the architectural name or classification of this type of structure? Do I have any architects out there following along? I’d love to hear your input.
Thanks,
David W. Gates Jr.
