In August of this year we headed to Mt. Carroll Illinois for a family party. Early in the year I had driven out to the western side of Illinois to get several old post offices. This time around I stopped in Byron to get a picture of their post office.
It also happened to be the same weekend as their summer festival. I kept thinking to myself it’s going to be a difficult photo shoot, but alas, I got it.
