I hate to even say it or think it, but it appears this is the typical post office slated for closure. It would be a shame, it has so much character. The look and feel of times past is so prevalent.

I’ve often wondered what the name Catawba means. I ran across another Catawba in Virginia when I was hiking in 2007. Feel free to share your profound knowledge here.
