ADDRESS: 300 1st St. Clinton, Iowa 52732
Welcome to another Post Office Freak Saturday. This is the one day of the week when I like to highlight some of the more interesting post offices. Today’s featured building is Clinton, Iowa. This is one large building with a long lobby.
Today also marks my first ever video of a post office. Because of the large size and interesting lobby I thought this would be the perfect time to test out a short film. In doing this I really hope to show you more of the building than just photographs.

So what do you think? Are my readers liking the film? Does it offer a different perspective of the building?
Thanks for stopping by, I’d like to know what you think?

This is a classic 1990-1992 post office. (Don’t ask me why; this design was big primarily during those three years.) The design is recognizable by the slab front with the tall atria with ‘triangular’ roof, as well as the rotunda featuring bulletin boards and the unofficial Postal Service model. Nice photos.

Hi Evan,
Yes, a classic 1990’s style post office. Its amazing after so many years photographing post office how easy it is to recognize the buildings when you see them.
Thanks for the comment.
