ADDRESS: 101 Thresher Dr., Eureka, Missouri 63025
Eureka Missouri was another post office we visited during our summer vacation in 2006. Eureka was also one of my early photographs. I don’t remember looking or checking the lobby for any interesting features. When I first started photographing, I was only interested in getting the name of the city on the building as shown above.
Today I’m much more interested in photographing the entire building. In addition I’m also interested in the other features like artwork, old photos in the lobby, dedication plaques, honor plaques, display cases with memorabilia. It’s amazing what you find when you stop to talk to the locals and take a closer look around.
Thanks,
David W. Gates Jr.

David,
I like your idea of photographing more than just the outside or the wall plaque with the city name. I haven’t looked into why Shutterfly wants people to join but I did just update my site the other day. I enjoy checking out your site.

Thanks Deano,
Some of my early photographs are so simple and basic. I’ve enjoyed taking a more detailed approach and photographing more than just the signs.
Thanks for checking in, I enjoy your photographs as well.
