ADDRESS: 118 N. Main St., Hiawassee, Georgia 30546
In 2007 I decided to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. Hiawassee is one town where hikers can resupply. I don’t remember much about this post office or who I was with. What I do know is that I was not driving, which would explain the reason I don’t have a self portrait of myself standing in front of this one.
Hiawassee as I understand it is a good size town. What I do know is this location is popular with Appalachian Trail hikers and another reason I take photos of post offices. It’s little things such as this that stand out for me. If you never Thru-Hike the Appalachian Trail how else would the public know this fact?
So here it is folks, I’m planning on highlighting some of the post offices I visited during my 2007 Appalachian Trail hike this week.
Thanks,
