On Wednesday November 13, 2019, the Lincoln Park Historical Museum had a presentation regarding the mural that once resided in their building. since I had a few minutes. I decided to heard over to the Highland Park branch to view the eagle.
What I though was going to be a quick trip ended up taking longer than I anticipated and it was getting dark by the time I got there to see it.
The combined shorten daylight and Detroit traffic meant I had to hurry get my pictures and head back to Lincoln Park for the presentaiton.

How was the presentation? What did they say about the mural?
David says
Thanks for the comments and questions.
The presentation was wonderful, it was with Mr. Greg Wittkopp who works at Cranbrook. I had no idea what Cranbrook was or existed until I met Mr. Wittkopp.
The mural is apparently being restored and will be brought back to the Beaver Island and placed in the museum where it has been.
My understanding is a photograph will be taken and this photograph will be what gets placed in the original building in Lincoln.
