Louisiana Missouri Post Office

Hello and welcome to another Missouri post office. A very stately building that stands large and proud in Louisiana. My normal routine is to photograph the exterior of the building and then find the details and photograph those too. So could you imagine my disappointment when I was attempting to find the corner-stone on this obviously wpa era building. But did I ever find it? NO and if you take a closer look you will see the most recent ramp addition must have covered the stamped corner-stone.

I was unable to confirm this but if anyone out there knows if the corner-stone was present on the left corner of the building prior to the installation of the ramp I’d like to hear from you. Or better yet if you have a picture of the corner-stone that would be even better.
