ADDRESS: W1265 Park Rd., Pell Lake, Wisconsin 53157
Pell Lake appeared close when we first looked at the map, so we decided to find it. The USPS app on the iPhone displayed a different location on the map. But since we had the address we were able to find it.
I did not find a dedication plaque or any other distinguishing features. I did however, notice an older building across the street.
While visiting the current Pell Lake Post Office, directly across the street was a vacant building that appeared to be the original post office. The building really looks similar to what a 50’s or 60 style post office building looks like. There were no signs or indications, but after viewing many post offices you can’t help but conclude this building must have been the original post office. If anyone out there knows the history of Pell Lake or can verify this I’d like to hear from you.

Your conclusions regarding the building across from the current PO are incorrect. The vacant building used to be a branch of the collasped “First Banking Center” which was taken over by Talmer Bank and Trust. The original PO is now a ceramics shop with an apartment above located at N1219 Park Rd, Pell Lake.
