Another guest post from Roger. This one is from Struthers, Ohio. Very nice building with a plaster cast above the postmasters door.
One of the reason I love visiting old post offices is for the “little” things that you discover. Struthers is a perfect example, which has interesting artifacts and stuff posted in the old bulletin boards.
What is most interesting to me is the newspaper article when the building was dedicated. I’m not so sure the post office would have such a large turn out in today’s world, so this is a neat thing to see.
