Charlottesville Virginia Former Main Post Office – Guest
ADDRESS: 201 E Market St, Charlottesville, VA 22902
VIRGINIA
Charlottesville; former PO built between 1904-08, completed all construction in 1936. It’s now the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library. It has a more recent former post office which appears to be a 1960’s style. There are two current Charlottesville post offices. The Main one opened in 1975 and is located on US Highway 29 and there’s one downtown.

Clarksville; former PO & Federal Building built in 1939. This past summer—2022 it was made into a restaurant, it’s called The Mailroom.
