STATUS: The Woodsfield post office is still an active, operating facility, and the carving can be viewed by interested members of the public. It resides in the lobby on the wall above the postmaster’s door.

Another beautiful day for photographing post offices. This was another stop during my October 2022 road trip.
Great to see a wood carving, most as you know are murals and painted on canvas. This one is wood and on the larger size with a lot of detail.
